Team Ryerson University OPSEU Local 596 is back in full force!

On Sunday, October 5, 2014, team Ryerson University, OPSEU Local 596 is joining tens of thousands of Canadians to participate in the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run* for the Cure.

This year Ryerson Athletics is sponsoring our participation in this event. They will ‘pump us up’ and ‘boost our stamina’ making us ready for Run Day!

No RAC membership required.

Throughout the months of July, August and September everyone who has signed up and joined our team will benefit from two, 1 hour training session each week led by a fitness instructor (catered to all levels of personal fitness), preparing us all for Run Day.  Sessions include Spinning, BOSU and free weight classes.

The Run for the Cure is Canada's largest single day, volunteer-led fundraising event dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research, education and health promotion initiatives. *The CIBC Run for the Cure is a 5k or 1k walk or run.

** All participants who raised $150 or more during last year’s Run (whether you belonged to our team or not) are entitled to free registration for the 2014 CIBC Run for the Cure and should have received a message on March 12 detailing how to register under the Loyalty Program.
