Benefits coverage Toronto Metropolitan University is dependent on the member's employment status.   A members Sun Life benefits booklet provides detailed information on the benefits coverage applicable to their employee group. 


How do I use my benefits?

If you aren’t familiar with how to use your benefits, or are a new employee who is setting up your benefits for the first time, the following resources may be useful:

Refer to your benefits booklet linked above for your coverage and limitations. Keep in mind that each employee group may have slightly different coverage.


What if I have specific questions about my benefits coverage?

Please keep in mind that you need to submit the Group Benefits Enrollment Form to HR and register with Sun Life if you have not already done so.

If you have already registered with Sun Life and If you have additional questions about your specific benefits coverage, please contact Sun Life directly at 1-800-361-6212, or by logging into mysunlife.ca to access other methods of contact such as chat, in-mail, or priority calling through the app.

Please note that you will need to provide Sun Life with your access ID (your employee number) and policy number (25180).
